Scenes from Our 100th Anniversary

On Sunday, April 24, 2005 Bethlehem's family celebrated 100 years of worship and service -- commemorating our founding on April 13, 1905.  Here are some of the images from church with Bishop Stephen Bouman (bishop of the Metropolitan New York Synod 1996-2008), Pastor Paul Knudsen, Rev. Phyllis Haynes (pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Narrowsburg NY) and Rev. Russell Norris (then Executive Director of the Bay Ridge Center), and at the dinner that followed.

Pastor Paul and Erna Rohrs, who was honored at the dinner for being Bethlehem's oldest member.  Erna had turned 97 just days before.

Gail Topp, (Church Council member and later Deacon), joins her sister, Rev. Phyllis Haynes, who assisted in the service.  Rev. Haynes is Pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Narrowsburg, New York.
